1. This board is rated PG-13 in general. If you are planning on making an R-rated board, please put ((R)) in the title. Please nothing X-rated...fade-to-black, por favor. Swearing is allowed, but please keep the F-word to a minimum, and please, no N-word (if you don't know what it is, don't worry about it).
2. Please don't be rude! If a newbie posts on your thread, don't get too upset. Just say, "Hey, sorry, we're posting here. Do you want to start a thread somewhere else?", perhaps. If you want to restrict a post to a certain person, do it this way: ((Certain Person)).
3. Some boards get really upset with people "controlling" other peoples' characters. For instance, many get mad when someone kisses another character on the lips, because it is "doing something to the other character." Honestly, I don't really care. Don't control the other person, control your own, but you can do nice things, like kissing and hugging, to another person. I'll be sure to tell you if you've crossed the line, though.
4. Don't start RP-ing until I've okay-ed your character. I'm pretty fast, I promise.
5. Make sure your post is at least three sentences. The first post in a thread should be longer, to set up a background for any interaction. Most of you guys will be okay with this one, though, I think.
6. No chat-speak, no lol's, etc. Use casually proper grammar; no one's going to be a stickler with your spelling or grammar, but at least try. It makes it easier on all of us. (NOTE: If you say OOC:, or out of character, and talk about something not related to what your characters are doing, it is OK to use that stuff. The actual RP is what we care about.
7. Please be constant. Try to post at least once a day, and if you can't, post extra on the weekends to make up for it. If you're going on vacation, tell everyone you are RPing with that you're not giving up on them!
8. Your username should be anything you want. It doesn't have to be your character name, although it could be if you would like.
